Bruce
grew up in a construction work environment, but with two
main hobbies. Playing any kind of ball and going deer
hunting on the weekends in the fall. "Some of my best
early teen memories are of a hunting camp setting around the
evening fire after a venison supper, listening to the old
guys tell lies", says Bruce. "Deer hunting is deep in
my blood, having gun hunted since I was ten, and
starting bow hunting in my early 20's. My first deer harvest
was with a .410 shotgun and my first bow kill was with a
Bear Whitetail Hunter. There is something about the
hunter bond with others and nature that can only be felt but
not explained. It's great to see people come in and
get outfitted with a state of the art bow setup or a great
rifle with quality optics that are properly mounted. I am
looking forward to making many more relationships through
our store as we enjoy the outdoors together."

Travis "T-Bone" Turner - Archery Specialist |

He’s
started his own archery business, restored a vintage
Mercedes, held the Outdoor 3-D Archery Word Champion title
and appeared on numerous television shows and videos,
including Realtree’s “Monster Bucks" video series. And
though Travis Turner, a.k.a T-Bone, didn’t get to keep the
Mercedes, he did manage to hold on to his passion for
archery.
“Whether it’s in a tree stand or competing in an indoor
arena, I just love to be around hunters and archers who have
a desire to shoot and have a good time. I can’t tell you how
many friends I’ve made just having fun…and building
relationships is what this sport is all about.” |
